Dr. Nan McDonald Testimonial
The California Music Project fellowship program at San Diego State University has revolutionized the training of future K-12 music educators. It is the largest single scholarship offered in the SDSU School of Music and Dance and is the "gem" of our Music Education program. CMP helps attract and retain the very best music education students, many of whom are the first members of their families to attend college. Every year, nine or more future music teachers and their volunteer mentor master teachers work together to teach thousands of K-12 students within San Diego Unified and Sweetwater Union High School Districts.
